DIMAKO MISSION DECEMBER 2 - 10 2015

WeCCARE FOUNDATION is a non profit association founded in Cameroon, Central Africa with strong roots in the Europe and the USA.
Our Vision  is to Alleviate Poverty and Human suffering through local partnerships
Our Mission  is to provide Basic quality Healthcare, Education and carryout Community Based Projects that leads to capacity building amongst the Equatorial rainforest people of Central Africa. Special emphasis on the vulnerable / orphan children and the girl child.

From the 2nd -to- the -10th of December 2015, we shall be engaged in 'Bush Medicine' at Dimako, a small town in the Eastern Region of Cameroon, Central Africa.

WeCCARE shall be providing basic quality healthcare through free medical consultations/ clinical examination ; free distribution of medications with respect to prevailing ailments; Carryout basic out- patient free surgeries; Community Health education/ HIV screening and counselling; Dental Healthcare and assisting the Local staff of the community health facility  improve on their skills and equipement.

We have carried out  15 such missions in the past with approximately  6000 rural people consulted  and more than 400 operated upon successfully.

This  upcoming mission would be carried amongst the BAKA PIGMIES of the Equatorial rain forest of Central Africa.( See National Geographic Video of 1988, narrated by Denzel Washington)

These forest people are depended entirely on the forest but are loosing their habitat and livelihood because of deforestation. They have no means of having the finance to provide for their healthcare as  is the case in most African countries.  So, it is  of good will that we go and help them.

The team going would be made up of volunteers from Cameroon and the USA.

We would need medical and surgical supplies, lodging ,feeding  and transportation for volunteers.

WeCCARE shall be giving medical assistance to this American missionary working amongst the Baka Pigmies.

This mission is in hunour of John Terence Sikes, Jax , 24July 1956 to 07 July 2013.

100% of all donations would go into the course of bringing hope to the hopeless.
